ESV New Classic Makoto Fujimura Edition | Giveaway

Since my first giveaway went so well let’s try out another! If you were at The Gospel Coalition Conference you already got your hands on the New Classic Reference Bible (ESV) Commemorative Edition. As far as I can tell this is not even available for sale yet (at least Amazon is 2 weeks out still and it is not even listed on the Crossway website). The Bible has a retail price of $70, so by price alone you know this is a very nice Bible. The back card inserted into the shrink wrap of the Bible says this about the Bible:

In celebration of the 400th anniversary of the publication of the King James Version in 1611, Crossway presents this special commemorative edition of the ESV New Classic Reference Bible. This limited edition includes a publisher’s foreword recognizing the historic significance of the King James Version, and features stunning artwork illuminating the four Gospels, commissioned by Crossway and painted by world-renowned artist Makoto Fujimura.

This Bible is beautiful but I don’t need another one! So I am giving this one away through my blog. Similar rules as last time:

  1. One entry for simply filling out the form
  2. One entry for posting a link to this page on Facebook
  3. One entry for posting a link to Twitter
  4. Two entries for posting something about this on your blog

Contest is open to only residents of the United States (I don’t want to get crushed for shipping and duty to some foreign land)

Contest is now closed…congratulations to Austin Neal on winning himself this great Bible!

    Greg,
Just in case you were wondering why I was entering, since I was obviously at TGC and received one myself, my brother that couldn’t come was just telling me how he would like one. So, I am a cheap sister and didn’t want to shell out money to buy him one…enter opportunity when I saw your post. Thanks!
    Tricia

Thanks Don! I’m not sure how you found me, but thankful you are here. My site is primarily targeted towards my church and if anything spills over to other then glory be to the Lord.

Sorry Don, I piggy-backed off your tweet, and your comment. Came for the bible, but picked up another blog to add to the reader. Couldn’t pass up a Makoto Fujimura bible giveaway. Sorry to cut down on your chances.

            Dang it!
I guess that’s how it goes though.

I use a New King James version at church and bible study. My on line daily devotional program is the ESV version. That is my choice for studying the Bible. As a newly saved Christian it is important to me to clearly understand the word of God in the Bible. I’m 60 years old and my dream is to take Bible classes at a local Christian University.
